1. You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on demand.

2. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.

3. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans are more of a threat than U.S. Nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Chinese and North Korean communists.

4. You have to believe that there was no art before Federal funding.

5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical documented changes in the earth's climate and more affected by soccer moms driving SUV's.

6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual is natural.

7. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding.

8. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach fourth graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.

9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but loony activists who have never been outside of San Francisco do.

10. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it.

11. You have to believe that Mel Gibson spent $25 million of his own money to make "The Passion of the Christ" for financial gain only.

12. You have to believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution.

13. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.

14.. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Edison, and A.G. Bell.

15. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides are not..

16. You have to believe that Hillary Clinton is normal and is a very nice person.

17. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked anywhere it's been tried is because the right people haven't been in charge.

18. You have to believe conservatives telling the truth belong in jail, but a liar and a sex offender belonged in the White House.

19. You have to believe that homosexual parades displaying drag, transvestites, and bestiality should be constitutionally protected, and manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal.

20. You have to believe that illegal Democrat Party funding by the Chinese Government is somehow in the best interest to the United States .

21. You have to believe that this message is a part of a vast, right wing conspiracy.

22. You have to believe that it's okay to give Federal workers the day off on Christmas Day ..........but it's not okay to say "Merry Christmas."

Ok, it's done....I early voted today. Any doubt was removed by Biden's answer to the tax question last night when asked about class warfare as related to taxing "the evil rich". His answer? "Where I come from, it's called fairness". The lies he indulged in, I mean factual innacuracies, or maybe mis-understandings aside, this was enough to define his philosophy and confirm the philosophy of he party.

While I may no long qualify as the "evil rich", the thought that I should get something I didn't earn, from someone that worked hard and took chances to get it because it's "fair" just sickens me. His answer said nothing about why increased taxes were needed, what the revenue was used for, or IF it was needed, just that it was about "fairness". Marx'ism pure and simple.

And then today, when the congress voted on a solution that just HAD to include more pork just to pass!

I truly believe I live in a country run by idiots....that actually think the rest of us are even dumber than they are (after all, THEY were elected) and I mean that in a very non-partisan way!

However it goes, we're in for a rough ride. God bless us all.

The constitution will be intrepreted by several, I would expect very to far left wing liberal, new supreme court justices. The congress will enact increasing socialist legislation. We may be spent into oblivion.

Dear friends, read the Gulag Archipelago. I have tried to read it several times and cannot complete it...it is too scary. I seems to reflect similar tendencies that may be forthcoming in our society. Men in nice suits driving Buicks or a Lexus come to your house to chat. You have coffee. You quietly leave with them, never to be seen again. Off point, but Stalin's wifes were feted with beautiful state dinners, arriving and leaving in huge limos...and never seen again after they left, that is after he was tired of them.

The Reds chased the Whites around globe, hunted them down and killed them where ever they were. Ergo the Commie Reds. So one by one each member of the dias comes to you for a toast- you get many drinks, each of them gets one and you get drunk! They liked me (true). At any rate, one particular official (rugged looking guy!) asks for a toast. I said thanks but one too many. He speaks in chinese to my Chinese manager, who then says, "When someone requests you for action, sometimes its polite. Sometimes its an order. He says its an order!". So I had another drink (too many). The offical from the World Bank was a pretty Chinese woman who had taken a liking to me. When I was polite to her, it made her blush...!

The point is that its all nice, neat and polite over there...as long as you go along with the program. You see few, if any, police on the streets. But fail to follow the party line, or get our of line, and magically you are wisked away to prison for long time.

My point...unsure. Mostly some type of concern about where we are headed.
