The factor of Mr. Obama's qualifications to either run for or hold the office of the POTUS is gaining traction. However, if you can bring yourself to sit through it, here is an audio interview of Phillip J. Berg, lifetime Democrat, former Democratic Chair for a PA county and the former Dpty Atty General for the State of PA. He discusses all the mitigating factors as to why Obama does not legally qualify to become POTUS. This not cute and not related to whether he is qualified by experience, etc.

This is a rigorous legal review and discussion of fact related to the legal case now in the courts, as filed by Mr. Berg. It is compelling I think and very interesting content. So if you want a rant, it is not the video for you.

If true (and Phillip Berg makes a good fact funding case), really disturbing just how corrupt our government is, left leaning the media is, and how easy it is to pull the wool over Americans eyes. Nuts that he has raised 600 million and rising for his campaign with no accountability to where it came from. How can McCain compete when capped to 88 million (or something like that) and media against him?

I am responsible for thousands of corporate artifacts and documenting their authenticity is a critical matter and requires documentation. I am quite impressed by Mr. Berg's documentation on a positive basis, i.e. a paper trail that "exists" and not relying "the documents don't exist". Furthermore that paper trail is resident in U.S. and other foreign nation documents.

In light of the very long trail of documentation, setting aside the lack of a valid birth certificate, I would think the most damning matter is that Mr. Obama traveled to Pakistan on an Indonesian Passport and furthermore renewed that passport. He was and is an Indonesian citizen on that basis alone.

So the matter of the line of inquiry of Mr. Berg also now opens the potential that Mr. Obama does not meet the legal test to hold the office of US Senator or a state governor, which is a lower standard that the POTUS. I.e., one must be a "naturalized" US citizen to hold either of those offices. E.g., the State of MI Governor J. Granholm or CA, Arnold S. The POTUS standard is to be "natural born". So if Mr. O is not a naturalized citizen, then he certainly is not "natural born".

This is the first time in a long time that wild-eyed right wingers are not making outrageous claims, but well reasoned, hard-eyed evidence and arguments are being presented.

This ain't over. Next big question- if he wins, does the Federal Elections commisson declare him the nominal President to be sworn in. The FEC is one of the defandants named in Mr. Berg's lawsuit I believe. How will they respond?

If sworn in, what is the standing of legislation he signs or Executive Orders he may publish. What validity under the law would they have? Supremes nominees- would they be legal? Will the US armed forces be required to respond to him as POTUS and CIC? The four stars are political whizes...how will they respond?

Since this is broadreaching, serious stuff, I will following this very closely!

Well, what do you know-poof, the Constitution means squat! Federal Judge Surrick has ruled that Philip J. Berg lacked standing to bring the citizenship case re: Mr Obama, saying that any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters." In other words, just because Obama is not a citizen, no one/single voter will be affected negatively enough. Interpretation: "too attenuated"- teeny negative for each of us is ok, constitution be damned. It just not worth our while to be concerned about trivial matters such as citizenship of the president. Silly me!!!

I guess Americans are really all about looks and flash when people vote for a potus based on how well he speaks and how diplomatic he sounds and looks. I guess Ted Bundy could have gotten elected. Eligability and citizenship don't matter or the law for that matter.
No democracy has lasted once the unproductive realize they can vote themselves money and handouts at the expense of the productive. Once the unproductive outnumber the working producers, the democracy fails.

Our country was founded by people that feared just this type of scenario. This is why we have a representative republic and not a democracy. Unfortunately, many of the checks in our system have been eliminated or circumvented over the years. Our representatives were never supposed to be making a career out of politics.

The brave geniuses who set up our government based everything on the assumption that lawmakers and elected officials were godly, moral and honest and above all patriotic. Obama IS a citizen until proved otherwise. There are hospital birth records that document his birth in Hawaii. Berg states that they are forged. It is up to Berg to prove that, which he has been unable to do. Does anyone seriously think that any political party would nominate a candidate who couldn't legally hold the office for which they were running? Come on, guys.

As for the Indonesian passport, I know native-born Americans who hold as many as TWO valid passports from other countries in addition to their own. There is no law that says you can't have a valid passport from another country in addition to the USA.

This won't go away, though. If he's elected, there will be someone out there who says they aren't legally obligated to follow any law that Obama signed into the Federal statutes, because he "wasn't really President" when he signed it....this ought to be entertaining. Coming soon to a courtroom near you...
