Painting satellite TV domes
The satellite TV domes I had were faded to a flat white due to age. I called the manufacturer to find out what could be used. They told me any acrylic or waterborne urethane. They said do not use anything with metal or metallic in the coating. I used a car finish urethane base and clearcoat. They came out beautiful and did not affect the reception.

Look great and better yet they are clean with no decals.

The decals had long ago fades and were peeled off however the shadow of them was still visible. I’m so glad I did this. What an improvement.

I would have used either but the manufacturer said no. There was to much metal ground into the material. Glad it worked for you.

It’s in the pigment and titanium. It’s in all paints. Some have more than others.
