Uggh! I have bought two wet ends from TESCO and the first one failed in less than one year. Is the pump or the motor the problem piece? I assume pump and also that I have been had on this!
This is all starting to make sense now for the worse! I'm glad it's pretty temperate in the PNW. I can imagine this would be a real serious issue If I was down south like most folks on this forum!
I found another distributor for wet end kits and picked up another spare. They are a bit more at $80 but perhaps they are not the bad run!

TESCO is bad news. March is bad news, but if you have to have it ....
Wondering if the your $80 model has the same 8 bolt mounting footprint. I needed the 0151-0069-0100 wet end kit.
Try shimming your old pump in the manner described in this very professional short educational video on the subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8CPElV708A

Do you have the AC-5C-MD pump. They are advertising that wet end will work with any AC-5C-MD so that should work for me.
I'll give your shim a try. Do you by chance have the dimensions of your washer?
Re: March Pumps--Possibly the Worst Customer Service Ever!
TE5.5C-MD pump. I used a 3/8" copper washer (shaft diameter) about .060" thick. Thinner will be better first.
Please let me know if that gets you pumping. If so, you'll have a good spare when you get the new one.

They were probably designed by the geniuses at that fine old American pump maker, March Pumps.

I have two pumps. one for each unit. Currently installed are two Liquid cooled 3 series. Two seacocks, two strainers, two pumps, two units, two discharges.
Checking my figures to see if the 3seires LC is enough for the 18.5 that is going in the salon. It's doing about 5gpm now with a 12,000 unit and puts out bath water temp. Unit up in the vbirth will be 12k
