I wonder if this was the Dennis Corcoran I knew in Norfolk, who lived on a smaller Chris-Craft powerboat, in the eighties. I wonder. I'll bet I wondered it before, and have just forgotten about it. This is what happens when you get old.

Always loved this model. A fiber glassed Burger. Pure class.
Nice book on Hargrave, I think it's called "American Classic" or something like that. A lot of info and visuals on his designs, including Burgers, Daytonas, and of course Hatteras.

I actually have this book but I haven't read it. We have over 2 thousand books in our library and I have
not read them all, but I will read it now.
When Willis Slane recruited Jack Hargrave he made probably the most important business decisions in
the history of Hatteras. They were both visionaries and their visions are still being enjoyed to this day.
