What engines?
What kind of boat?
It matters as some surveyors know certain boats better than others.
What...what? Is this survey for you? You can't keep us people on the forum updated?
If you buy a boat soon, it means I remain king of the "longest [hatteras] boat shopper".
Well if you must know...I'm ashamed to say it's not a Hatt. I tried - really I did. Within our budget, there were no Hatt MY's that passed the wife acceptance test. Some were real dogs.
Then she stepped aboard a spotless 63' Viking MY and she was sold. Arguments about seakeeping, cored hulls, and technical documentation would have led nowhere.
I'm sorry my friends,
What year?
Try Robert Garay, global surveyors. 305 niner Ocho six - 33 six dos
I used him 3 times over the years. Did a good job. Last was last year on the 2009 84 lazzara (descendent of gulfstar and then Viking MY) I m running now. Going to use him again for my hatt during the upcoming repower
Ps - engines are DD 8-92's
8v92s on a 63??? Sounds under powered
Did you look at 1985 61 hatt I posted in the boat for sale section. It s two slip away from me and I think a better buy / boat than the Viking...
A customer here has a 55 viking motoryacht with the 8v92's and its a big 55. Just a bit top heavy if you ask me.
I upgraded electronics, battery chargers and the hold and treat system.
It has a walk in air conditioned engine room though.
