BRIAN YOU NEED TO BE CENSURED.
NO CHINESE CRAP IN A HATT. YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER. THE REST OF THE BOAT COULD REBEL.
If you really need to use less expensive fittings try duct tape. It will probably last longer than the Chinese crap too.

Oh Scott The China man is your friend he's all around you and your boat. He's probably made just about all the screws and most of the bolts that are holding everything together along with lots of other things. He probably built the computer and keyboard your using to bash him.

I just recieved my 2 bilge drain thru hull fittings with a T handle from an outfit in Houston. What I got was a 4 screw garboard drain with a T instead of the thru hull with an inside nut. This was described by another HOF member and I felt it was wrong... so here I am. If this guy cant order Groco stuff, is there any one here that would help out an old altar boy?
The unit is made by Perko and the pic even shows the correct fitting via the part number but is totally the incorrect part. Heres the links to what I got versus what I want. With pics of course! This was ordered as

This is what I wanted in either 1" npy or 1-1/4 npt
http://www.groco.net/07-ftgs/07-sb-2-fs.htm I can deal with a square plug if I have to... I'll try to return them tomorrow. ws
This is the Groco item PN TH-1250-cs OR TH-1500-cs in bronze ws

Is it on the page?
Thats it Scott... but the perko book shows the 363 with the 266 numbers. The Groco stuff in a 1" or 1-1/4" model is closer to $50 each. It will no doubt be a special order. Perko only comes in 3/4 ws
I just looked at the fitting in hand and the number is 266. All the perko litt shows the one I orderd as having the compression nut inside! ws
Call me in the AM. 407-739-5450. I will see if I can get you the right one.
They did manage to get me the correct engine bay drains
(to be installed for fall cleaning!) and my new 8 pin plug for the westerfokker. ws
