Hi Pascal, When you lowered the stringers to install the new alum engine mount frames, did you
determine how that stringer alteration would affect the strength of the hull under the engines. I noticed in the picture that the original stringer was notched and I was wondering if it created a possible break point. I hope not.....

Everything was beefed up. The inside of the stringers were reinforced and the hull was also doubled in thickness outside the stringers for the new stabs.
I believe the original stringers were extra tall to accomodate the 0 angle allisons not for strength.
Both engines are in. Not fully positioned but now have a good idea of the space around them compared to the DD
Old fuel lines and manifold, valves coming out too. I m setting up new valves, priming pump and racor in each ER
Lot more space all around and they sit much lower too
Stabilizers are also installed
Great looking. Tons of access.
Nice!
Looking good!!! I talked to one of our club members who has a 53 which has C series at 480 hp, comfortable 16-18kt cruise, 24kt WOT.
Nice guy, great looking boat, but an unfortunate name..... Freebird. LOL
Well you can easily crawl around that engine room now, congratulations.
