  1. Mechanical Sight Gauges

1985 61 MYNot able to measure at this time. Does anyone have knowledge of the length of the mechanical sight gauges for the forward and aft fuel tanks? I believe they are 1.5”npt and suspect by my memory that they are 36”???

  3. Source for Hatteras Apparel?

Does anyone know where one can procure a Hatteras baseball cap these days? Lost mine over weekend and see the Hatteras Apparel link both on samsmarine.com and deeprivertraders.com no longer valid, plus hatterasyachts.com selection very slim with no apparel. Update: Never mind, did not click...

  4. Memorial day

Happy Memorial Day, to all. A holiday started about 160 years ago, remembering the Americans lost fighting Americans in the Civil War. 620,000 Americans were lost in the Civil War. About 1.1 million Americans have been killed in all wars. This weekend while you are with the ones you love...

  6. RR bridge in Stuart closed

So, does anyone know if it was in fact closed? We are supposed to pass through on May 24th, 2 days after it is supposed to reopen. Also if anyone knows how difficult is the Old Roosevelt bridge to get an opening. Looked it up on Navionics and the rules look like many reasons not to open.

  7. Florida insurance cost breakdown?

I know insurance in Florida is through the roof. Question: Is it the full coverage part of it or the liability part of it that is so expensive or both? I am assuming marinas are only worried about having liability coverage? Thanks!

  8. Sterling Pro Ultra - Bluetooth?

Does Sterling offer a Bluetooth module? I know I have seen somewhere that there was one and an app but cannot seem to locate? Trying to monitor from Flybridge, I guess I could always install a 2nd remote? Thanks

  9. Marquipt Davit

Sailorman has what looks to be a Marquipt Tender Lift Classic 110V for sale. Can't remember the price but around $3000, needs paint but looks serviceable. FYI

  15. Solar battery charger for tender - any suggestions?

Any brand / model recommendations on a durable and reliable 12V solar battery charger for the tender? Tender is a 13' whaler with electric start that sees light use but is mostly in the water and obviously needs the bilge pump to be powered. I'd be fine taking the charger off and stowing it on the...

  16. Wise folding deck chairs

It was time to replace my deck chairs and I started looking around on the internet. I stumbled upon what I believe is the Wise factory outlet website but it's called boatseats dot com. They are now having a 'sale' on the ubiquitous aluminum frame folding chair with padded seat etc. I purchased 6...

  17. Smith's changes hands, after three generations.

For nearly twenty years, I have had my boat hauled for the winter at Smith's Marina, in Crownsville, MD. Smith's is a third-generation family business. It is the best boatyard I've ever seen- competent and careful employees, absolute honesty about what your boat needs and what it doesn't, and...

  19. PSA: Check those smoke (and CO) detectors and replace batteries!

At anchor for the weekend recently I was reminded of the importance of functioning smoke detectors. A very minor electrical issue that triggered a smoke detector alarm was able to be easily remedied rather than escalating to something more…impactful. We had 11 people aboard most of them under 17...

  20. Anyone we know

There’s a “well used” LRC that’s been anchored out with all the freeloader Canadian sailboats in FtPierce inlet. Every-once in a while one will break loose and end up on the beach. Seems way out of place been there almost a year
