While working on the boat in the yard, I noticed that the rudders require 2 full turns from center to STBD, and 3 full turns from center to PORT. 5 full turns total, lock to lock. I suspect this asymmetric ratio is normal?

I want to use our runabout on Lake Michigan and the rivers, so I want a good handheld chartplotter. Maybe a tablet that works even when out of range of cell signals?

Has anyone ever replaced the interconnecting hose between the two water tanks? I have two tanks, one under the master cabin bed and one under the guest cabin bed. Other than the small access panel in the master cabin closet, it seems impossible to get to the connection underneath the master cabin...

46c 1978 vintage. Anybody know where the vent fan is in the guest head in the hallway? I plan on going exploratory some time this weekend. Any intel. prior to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have sliding windows in my galley which the P.O. had someone liberally (!) caulk up rather than chase leaks down. Yes, it's a real mess. I have removed all of the caulk, including the blob in what I assume is the rectangular drain at the aft of the frame. At this point only the screen will budge...

Just replaced my 1983 Le Marshe 32v charger with a sterling. The orig had fuses built in to the 100lb unit the sterling does not. Should I use a fuse or circuit breaker type ? This is for the DC side.
