  1. Detroit Oil Filter Remote Mounting Kit

    My engines have spin on oil filters, but they are a bear to change because they’re mounted upside down. I’m due for an oil change and would like to correct that this time. Does anyone know of a remote filter mounting kit?

  7. Oil Filter

    When changing the oil filter, do you put a bucket under it first? Too late now to ask, but I thought I would ask anyways.:) I would have thought the oil filter would have been more empty after draining the engine, but it wasn't. Even though it was on an angle. The engines are 8v71ti.
