  1. Scentry gas vapor detector not turning on

My scentry gas vapor detector is not even turning on. I tested the cables on the back, and it is getting juice. Time for a new one? I would hate to replace it with something that does not need the same size cut out... Any Ideas?

  3. Good experience with Westerbeke parts

I needed a lift pump for my 15kw Westerbeke and found a sorce that was over $100 less than all the others. Service and advice were excellent. Shipping and handling cost was only what UPS charged. http://www.feathermanenterprises.com/ John Fetherman is the one you will talk to.

  5. waiting for the varnish to dry

Well the forward head is 99% done which makes the whole job come in at about 3%. Sure is nice to have a private throne room. Took almost 3 days to strip and clean and varnish the doors and bulkheads to "construction grade". I'm up to 5-6 coats and need to let them cure to finish sand and re-coat. ...

  6. Opinions on portable genny

I'm sure this has been talked about before...but I'm absent minded and forget things sometimes. I just completed my repower as most of you know. 7. A/C Breaker

My 74 36C's A/C panel is located in the locker in the head, it looks and I'm assuming it's original. It appears I may have a breaker going bad on the salon unit (the breaker on the left side of the box) as it will consistently blow after about 6 hours of use. I have checked to make sure it isn't...

OK, this thread may be a little odd for a Hatteras Forum, but I figure after 800 posts you guys will cut me some slack. I'll be looking at and early 80's 46' Viking soon. I heard they sometimes have issues with stringer rot and loose engine mounts. Has anyone here seen the problem first...

  19. Not zapped

In the course of doing some mid-job trouble shooting on the head install, we found several 110AC and a few 32 vdc breakers that are bad. Some are holding closed although open (welded contacts) and some are open while showing "on" with the knob. Are these breakers that prone to failure? One I...
