I have 1-1/2 year old batteries and a new Charles 40 Amp charger that was installed at the same time as the battery change. All great so far, except that after a long weekend of use, I now notice that the charger has not returned to zero and there is no load on the batteries. The charger is at 9...

Anyone have a good source for replacement filters for the Airseps on our 8V92s? I would prefer not paying full pop for them from Walker but I want to get them quickly. I guess a google search for K&N would be a good start. Thanks in advance for any input. Paul 240-417-7868...

  8. Refit Questions

Hello all, Does anyone know if the afromosia wall paneling can be purchased from Sam's? Also, how about the wood interior doors and trim from the 80's models? Also what is behind the walls of the salon and staterooms? Are there studs or does the paneling get secured to the glass some other way?

  9. Thinset/Carpet Advice

My MY is up north for the first time. The PO had enclosed the aft deck, applied a coat of thinset over the fiberglass deck and put down either marble tiles or ceramic tiles (not sure which). Well, due to the cold, the tiles have lifted and buckled. (See below). So, I am having the tiles removed...

Hello all, I am considering purchasing a 61' 1980's MY. I have viewed several 61's. I am considering the 4 stateroom version with the desk/dinette area below. I have come across a couple 63's on Yachtworld that seem to look exactly like the 61's, but I can't figure out where the extra 2' is...

Last fall I upgraded the original chartplotter on my 1973 53my to a Raymarine E95. I still have the original Furuno Marine Radar Display Model 1932 Type RDP-118. 12. Furuno 582l and 1850,

The screens on my 582l and 1850 are both going bad, can any one tell me where to get them repaired or replaced. I've been trying on eBay to no luck. Is there a good consignment marine electronic shop. Not sure what the best thing to do would be replace or repair or upgrade.

  18. Broke a Hynautic steering head spring

There is a small spring that pushes against each of the metal balls in head. While screwing the cover back in I managed to ruin the spring. They look like the springs found in retractable ball point pens. I assume the strength of the spring is important in the operation of the balland seat. Any...
