  5. 65 LRC shaft vibration????

    Got a 65 LRC and it seems I can feel vibrations in the Master's stateroom...the room is right above the struts i believe.... Had severe vibrations due to worn cutlass, so boat was hauled recently...cutlass replaced, and the 2piece shafts with muff coupler was replaced with 1 piece solid shafts...

  6. Cost to replace the tinted lexan "eyelid" that surrounds a Hat 58 flybridge ?

    Can barely see thru it. Naturally broker says we can polish with compound to clear it up...maybe...but almost certainly never as clear as new. Does Hat still sell these or would local glass shop have to duplicate it ? The compound bends would be the tricky part of course.

  8. Need help finding a gasket

    I have Covington modified 671tib and I need to remove the top of the inner-cooler where the turbo air goes in. Since western branch diesel is worthless I thought I would start here. Can anybody tell me where I could buy a new gasket.

  15. 6v92 - One engine varying speed

    Boat ran fine last time out, and no work done since other than zinc replacement. Yesterday afternoon, running both with and without the sync engaged, the port engine stayed a steady 2100, but the stbd varied from about 2050 to 2150. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

  17. Wood Cover up/Headliner/Paint job

    I have noticed on some of the older Hat's, some boat owners have covered up a portion of the wood with a beige wallpaper type material to lighten the spaces and have left the wood trim.   18. Smoking engine

    44 tri cabin has twin 8V53's with 1400 hours. Port engine is smoking a bit at 2200rpm. I checked the oil level and it appears well over the full mark and could have been overfilled at the last oil change. Would this cause the smoking?? Has not done it before. Appreciate the help from anyone.

    I have 900MA Racor Primary filters on my 453 Naturals, which I have been using the 2 micron filters in. It seems to clog up pretty fast. I was thinking about going to the 10 micron filter. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, captbuddy
