  2. Under 70ft and 4 cabins. What are options for something built 90’s or newer?

I’ve found a really nice 1998 74 with Cats that I can buy for $575k, but I do not want to be over 70ft. What are my options for staying under 70 and having 4 cabins. Looking to be sub $600k. I would also consider older boats if they’ve had a complete refit.

  5. Salon inswing to slider door conversion series 1 45' conv

Here's some photos of the process in switching from the rather intrusive inswing design to the more or less Hatteras design sliding door. The design is taken from the 15'10" pilot house doors, and I scrutinized as many other sliders as I could find. The aft bulkhead was treated as a project unto...

  11. Steering Cylinder Tiller Arm Bushing Source?

Replacing my Hynautic k31 steering cylinder with a new seastar unit. The bushings that attach the cylinder to the tiller arm have seen better days and I want to replace them while I've got everything apart. They appear to be copper or brass/bronze maybe? Anyone have a source for these bushings? ...

  12. Sanitation system replacement questions??

I should have started this project earlier this winter, but it's now underway. 13. Flow marine systems

Anyone have any first hand experience with their hvac units? My condensing units don’t look pretty when removed during my repower. While I’m in there…. It may pay to replace the original 1988 units. These being r22 compatible seem very intriguing instead of replacing the air handlers as well

  15. Another transformer question

I don’t want to hijack the other thread but one thing I can’t wrap my head around is how the transformer can take 120 30A cord and make 240V. I thought the selector switch on the panel was running the 120v through a second transformer with 2 sets of coils, therefore 2 120v outputs with one leg of...

  16. Favorite Bilge hose?

I am replacing my shower flanges and connected drain hoses. The current hose is a 1 1/2 gray hose with cuffs on the end for clamping. What do you guys use/like. I plan to do my bilge pump hoses themselves next, so buying in bulk be advantageous. Thanks for any replies and comments.

I’ve got a pair of damaged 24x22x4 props that will cost about $1600 to repair. I can buy a pair of good 24x23 props for $900. Wondering if that pitch difference is a big deal?
