  1. CCTV with no wifi

    Well, my Y.C. has decided to mess with its wifi network. I am not an IT guy. But, my CCTV cameras on the boat were connected to the Y.C wifi system with some port forwarding allowed on the Y.C's router so that I could monitor them over the internet. That ship may have sailed even though I am told...

  5. Voltage transformers/regultors 32v-> 12v, help educate me

    Ok, so after the first couple trips in the boat we have a laundry list of 'to-dos'. A couple of these issues involve 12v products running on a 32v system. First of all is the windlass. The PO installed a 12v lewmar windlass and installed two batteries in the bow bilge and a charger in the bow...

Now, I must move one the really difficult task of waxing a 55C. My psychiatrist says I'm all hung-up over the cords--something about my mother. Anyway, he...

  7. Rocket Launcher for fighting chair build

    Been piddling with this project for a couple months now. Finally got some non-rainy weather to make some progress. The idea is to take an old fighting chair I had in storage with a ladder back, and convert the back into a rocket launcher with rigging station and some tackle storage. In a...

    Question concerning the Galleymaid seawater heads on my 55c. Have been using them at dock and slow cruise with no issues.
