I'm wondering if any Hatteras owners might have a recommendation for a 32V charger. I'm running a vintage system on my 1947 Trumpy and plan on keeping my 32V for another few years. Thanks for any advice.

We've been very pleased (as have our batteries!) with our Canadian-built Analytic 32v. charger.

x2 on the Analytic. Its a great charger for a two bank system and includes an equalize function.

We have been using a Quick Charge Select-A-Charge for about 5 years with no issue. Seems to be a cheap decent option. They have a nice LED display and are configurable for different battery types.

For 12V I have had mixed luck with Newmar 3 phase chargers. Surprisingly they are much more expensive than Quick Charge. I had a smaller unit that was exposed to moisture which failed and was sent back for repairs. It was less than a year old at the time. The Newmars are not sealed at all and the circuit boards are not coated so it seems like it may be somewhat of a design flaw.

Wow - I must have one of the last ones, only a couple of months old. Collectors item, maybe?

Maybe they ran a batch of them. A few years ago, they listed them on their website, but if you called, they would say that they are no longer available. What size is yours? How many banks? How many amps?

Maybe it was just some old inventory, I found it and the temp probe on boatersland.com for just under $1500 plus $82 for the probe.

It is a Newmar PT32-25 Phase Three Series Battery Charger- 32V 25A

Charging 2 banks of 4 (each) Fullriver DC200-8 AGM batts

Just looked up Newmar 32V Chargers and they show they have them. However websites are not updated often enough.
